David Klink is a healthcare and personal injury attorney with experience in a wide variety of legal areas.
Mr. Klink is a graduate of Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics.
Mr. Klink attended law school at the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. During law school, Mr. Klink concentrated on health care law and litigation. Mr. Klink worked in the Risk Management Department of the University Medical Center (UMC) in Las Vegas, Nevada. With over 500 beds, the UMC is the largest public hospital in the State of Nevada and the only level 1 Trauma Center in Nevada. In this capacity, Mr. Klink brought classroom theory to real-life situations assisting the Executive Director of Risk Management by conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda pertaining to various health care compliance issues and liability concerns including HIPAA and Stark law compliance, insurance coverage denials, patient safety, and medical malpractice issues, sentinel event recording, EMTALA issues, Institutional Review Board compliance for clinical trials, property, and premises liability claims processing, mental health patient issues.
Within a year of graduating from law school, Mr. Klink attained membership in both the State Bar of Arizona and the State Bar of Nevada passing the Bar exam in both states on his first attempt.
